Korowa Aquatics is located at Korowa Anglican Girls’ School State-of-the-Art Sports and Wellbeing Centre in Glen Iris.

As a premium provider of swimming and water safety, we offer high-quality programs for the school and external community. We promote an inclusive approach to learning to swim, ensuring every participant feels supported and empowered.

Our team is committed to saving lives by teaching essential swimming and water safety skills, using world-class programming and instructional techniques. From six-month-old babies to national-level competitors, we deliver exceptional tuition for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

At Korowa Aquatics, we provide a safe, healthy, and positive learning environment. We believe children thrive when they are encouraged, guided, challenged, and rewarded. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of every student, fostering growth regardless of age, gender, ability, or experience.

Our holistic approach builds confidence, enhances skill development, and inspires students to succeed. This is made possible by our highly qualified team, who undergo training programs to ensure the best learning experience.

The swimming programs are designed by Olympic medallists Toby Haenen & Andrew Lauterstein, whose shared passion for the sport drives a philosophy of fairness, consistency, and progression.

Our Quality Team
The KA team are extensively researched, experienced and resourced in designing and implementing premium quality swimming and water safety programs. We share our passion for teaching with all our team and conduct regular ongoing training.

We have 3 decades of expert experience in;

  • Teaching and conducting premium Parent/Child classes and pre-school aquatics.

  • Teaching students in a highly structured learn to swim programs.

  • Coaching students in squad levels preparing for competition.

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise of technical swimming equipment.

 

Our Class Sizes

At KA, we believe in quality and personalised service. That’s why, the centre is only used for swim classes, coaching and and private use and not for general public use. We provide low instructor/student ratios, for the safety of all students, ensuring each student receives the personalised attention they deserve. Each of the student / teacher ratios listed below is the maximum number of students per class.

  • Parent & Child Classes 1:8 ratio

  • Beginner Classes 1:4 ratio

  • Intermediate Classes 1:5 ratio

  • Advanced Classes 1:8 ratio

  • Squad 1:20 ratio

  • Poolside and Mezzanine seating

Our Programs have been designed by Olympic swimming medallists Toby Haenen & Andrew Lauterstein, drawing upon 30+ years of International swimming, teaching and coaching experiences.

Korowa Aquatics (KA) provides extensive swimming programs for all ages and levels. We specialize in programs for all categories ranging from Parent & Child (6months of age), through to National squad training.

  • Parent & Child Classes (6 months up to 48 months)

  • Pre-School Learn to Swim Classes

  • School Age Learn to Swim Classes

  • Stroke Correction Classes

  • Squad Training

Our team also provides coaching for;

  • Korowa Anglican Girls’ School - Swim Team

  • Korowa Anglican Girls’ School - Students

  • Swimming Club (Bayside Swimming Club)

Korowa Aquatics also provides outstanding intensive swimming programs for external usage, such as

  • Kindergartens

  • Primary & Secondary Schools

  • Life Saving Clubs
